Visiting Sun City

Today we are going to Sun City and Sun City West  to visited some friends who we know from Minnesota. It is quite a long way from where we are staying but the 101 is a nice road and luckily not busy at 11 am.
It is a beautiful Arizona day, not a cloud in the sky.  First stop Butch and Anita...
Playing pickleball outside is just AWESOME.  The court plays very different and it feels great to play with the warm sun and the nice breeze.  So much fun.  Then a ride in the golf cart.  I just love how you drive these little babies around everywhere, even on the roads.  So cute!

I don't golf, but I think I need one of these.  I wonder if Jaguar makes a golf cart?  Maybe in a deep shade of green...
Then on to Sun City West.  The whole Sun City concept is pretty intriguing.  Fully contained, active adult communities.  Nice weather, plenty of activities, friendly people, I really see the draw to live here.   Pat and Sue have a beautiful home, warm and inviting.  Diner on the patio and a fire under the stars.

Beautiful evening, great food, wonderful friends.
