Hello Again Amazing Sedona

We start out our journey north with a quick stop at an adorable shop in Fountain Hills.  This shop, PUT A HANDLE ON YOUR CANDLE, is a little piece of heaven.  Owned by a dear friend of Brad cousin Nancy.  All candles are made here and you are immediately surrounded by heavenly scents.   This adorable shop is a  must stop for anyone in the Phoenix area.

We leave is great smells in hand and a new friend in out hearts.  Thanks Deone!

Back on the road we take the Arizona 87 up and around toward Sedona.  We enjoy our way through Payson, Pine and Strawberry. Our journey goes on and on and a little too on. After a make a u-turn we find our road.  Ok, so we missed an important turn.  Google went to sleep after we lost GPS and Sprint in the high peaks of the Coconino National Forrest.  Oh, Oh, sure could use a map when that happens.  I am sure the man relaxing in shade on the easy chair in front of the gas station thought, "dumb tourists"

As we drive into the outer limits of Sedona, the beauty of the very special area surrounds my senses.  I had forgotten the impact of the first vision of these amazing red rock canyons.

This is one of the most beautiful places on the planet.  So happy we had planned an extended stop back here.

As we search for our home for the next week, the canyon tops follow us.  One feels small in this place of giant red rocks.

The little "Cassita" has all the charm that this place deserves.  We are greeted to fine cheese, wine and some cold local beers.   Just about perfect.

Good Night, Sedona.   I can not wait to get to hiking!
